This should be a fun introduction to kniting socks. The sock will be knitted cuff down, on Double Pointed Needles. All materials will be provided to knit a pair of DK socks but we will only work on one sock. Some 'knitting homework' will be necessary to make sure you are ready for the next session.
Week 1 We will cast on using the Twisted German Cast On, we will knit the cuff and start on the leg of the sock.
Week 2 This will be quite a busy session - we will be making a heel flap, turning the heel and begining on the gusses shaping
Week 3 Working the toes and grafting the toe stitches together. We will then if we have time make a start on the second sock.
