5. K2, *P2, Kbtl4, P2, K2, repeat from * to end
6. P2 *K2, Pbtl4, K2, P2, repeat from * to end
7. Repeat row 5
8. Repeat row 6
9. Repeat row 5
10. Repeat row 6
11. K2, *P8, K2, Repeat from *to end
12. P2, *K8, P2, repeat from * to end
13. Repeat rows 1 - 12 twice more . Then Repeat rows 1 & 2 once. Cast off

Crochet Square

Abbrieviations: (uk terms) ch = chain, sl st = slip stitch, dc = double crochet, tr = treble, htr = half treble, dtr = double treble ( wrap yarn over hook twice, insert hook into stitch & pull up a loop. Yarn over & pull through 2 loops, yarn over & pull through 2 loops, yarn over & pull through last 2 loops.

Special Stitches

Dtr2tog = Make a dtr until the last yarn over, make a second dtr until 3 loops left on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on hook.

Cluster = Work 3 tr into space until 1 loop of each remains on hook, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.

Make 10 chain, sl st into first ch to form a ring.

1. 4ch, 1dtr into ring, 2ch, (dtr2tog, 2ch) 11 times into the ring. Sl st into 1st dtr.
2. sl st into 2ch sp. 3ch, make 2tr until 1 loop of each remains on hook, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on hook (1st cluster made). 3ch, (1 cluster into next 2ch sp, 3ch) 11 times, sl st into top of 1st cluster
3. 5ch (counts as 1htr, 3ch). Miss first 3ch arch, into next 3ch arch make (1 cluster, 2ch, 1 cluster, 4ch, 1 cluster, 2ch, 1cluster), 3ch, *miss 3ch arch, 1htr into top of next cluster, 3ch, into next 3ch arch make (1 cluster, 2ch, 1 cluster, 4ch, 1 cluster, 2ch, 1cluster), 3ch. Repeat from * twice more, sl st into 2nd ch of 5ch at beg of round.
4. 3ch, *3tr into next 3ch sp, 1tr into top of next cluster, 2tr into 2ch sp, 1tr into cluster, 5tr into 4ch sp, 1tr into top of cluster, 2tr into 2ch sp, 1tr into cluster, 3tr into 3ch sp, 1tr into htr. Repeat from * 3 times omitting last treble. Sl st into top of ch 3.
5. 1ch, 1dc into same st as last sl st. Dc in next 9st, 3dc in next stitch, dc in next 19, 3dc in next stitch, dc in next 19, 3dc in next stitch, dc in next 19, 3dc in next stitch, dc in next 9, sl st to join. Fasten off.
