3. *Knit 4, Purl 4, repeat from * across
4. *Knit 4, Purl 4, repeat from * across
5. *Purl 4, Knit 4, repeat from * across.
6. *Purl 4, Knit 4, repeat from * across.
7. *Purl 4, Knit 4, repeat from * across.
8. *Purl 4, Knit 4, repeat from * across.
9. Repeat these 8 rows a further 4 times (5 in total)
10. Cast off

Abbrieviations: ch = chain, st = stitch, tr = treble, fptr = front post treble - make the stitch around the front post of the stitch below, bptr = back post treble - make the stitch around the back post of the stitch below

Chain 34 ( Or a multiple of 6 + 4)

1. Tr in the 4th chain from hook, tr in all chains across. At the end ch2 and turn.
2. Skip the first tr, *fptr in next 3 sts, bptr, in next 3 sts. Repeat from * to the end of the row. Tr in top of turning ch from row below.
3. Repeat row 2.
4. Skip the first tr, *bptr in next 3 sts, fptr in next 3 stitches. Repeat from * to the end of the row. Tr in top of turning chain from row below.
5. Repeat row 4.
6. Repeat rows 2 to 5 a further 4 times (5 in total).
7. Fasten off
