Wimbledon Challenge - Day 4
These squares are reminders of the grass courts and in particular centre court. Sorry that there are no fancy outdoor pictures today, rain stopped play 😂

Abbreviations: K = Knit, P= Purl, K2TOG = Knit 2 together, YF = Yarn Forward
Cast on 31 (or a multiple of 4 + 3 if you want to make your squares smaller or larger)
- Knit
- Purl
- (right side) *K2, K2TOG, YF. Repeat from * to last 3 stitches. K3.
- Purl
- Knit
- Purl
- *K2TOG, YF, K2. Repeat from * to last 3 stitches. K2TOG, YF, K1
- Purl
Repeat these 8 rows a further 4 times ( 5 in total)

Sample made in DK with a 4mm hook
 Abbreviation: ch = chain, ch sp = chain space, tr =treble
- Chain 4 and join to make a circle.
- Chain 3 (counts as a treble), 2tr into circle. Ch2. 3tr into circle, Ch2. 3tr, ch2. 3tr, ch2. Join to top of ch3.
- Slip stitch to chain space. Ch3 (counts as a treble), 2tr into space. Ch2, 3tr into space. *In next ch sp (3tr, ch2, 3tr). Repeat twice more and join to top of starting ch.
- Slip stitch to chain space. Ch3 (counts as a treble), 2tr into space. Ch2, 3tr into space. 3 tr in gap between this corner and the next corner. *In next ch sp (3tr, ch2, 3tr), 3tr in gap between this corner and the next corner. Repeat twice more and join to top of starting ch.
- Ch3 (counts as tr). *Make a tr in each stitch until the corner space. (3tr, 2ch, 3tr) in corner. Repeat from * until beginning ch3 then join with a slip stitch.
- Repeat round 5. (Keep repeating this round if you want a bigger square, skip this round if you want a smaller one).
- Ch 3 (counts as treble). *Make a tr in each stitch until the corner space. 3tr in corner. Repeat from * until beginning ch 3 and join with a slip stitch. Fasten off
