Socktober
Socks are really popular in the world of knitting and not surprising given the wonderful array of sock yarns available. They are warm and durable and not as difficult to knit as you might think. There are also easy to crochet too.
For all of you who have never attempted socks before then the perfect starting point is the fabulous Christine aka Winwick Mum. She has the perfect tutorials on her website and a free basic pattern to get you started. There is also a sockalong Facebook group. Follow the link below to get started.
The next link will take you to a very comprehensive crochet sock pattern. It is written in American terms but it is great for sizing etc.
