Olympic CAL or Olympic KAL

Ok, so here in Cullompton I have been pondering the Olympics and thinking about what to make during the event. Well, I have discovered over on Ravelry two possible projects from Tessa Madson Designs/ Olivia Hope @livingtheyarnlife on Facebook. (Apologies, trying to tag you and not sure if it has worked!)

Basically, you pick a team to follow and can decide whether to make a shawl or a scarf. You start with the opening ceremony and finish at the closing ceremony. The pattern and rows will depend on the medals won.

The pattern calls for Worsted and 5mm hook/needles but you could use Aran or DK. I just need to decide if I am going to knit or crochet

Below are the links to her Facebook page and the patterns (not fully released yet!). If you follow her on Facebook there is a free code for the pattern or you can purchase the pattern via the in store ravelry pattern sales in either of the shops.

More details can be found on her Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61557301514801
