Help support the Red Roses!

Women's Rugby World Cup 2025

The Red Roses need you 🫵🌹

Led by team members Abby Dow and Tatyana Heard, English Rugby are encouraging people of all ages to create roses, bunting, and rugby ball yarn masterpieces!

Therefore I am hatching a plan Cullompton folk! It only makes sense to add some colour to Cullompton and show our support especially as some of the matches and two quarter finals are being held at Sandy Park and we are en route.

I am hoping to get enough to put roses, rugby balls or bunting throughout the town.

If any shops would like a rose or a ball for their window let me know and if anyone wants to help get making then you are very welcome!

England Rugby have free crochet patterns that can be found on their website here

Rugby Balls are a little harder to find patterns for. England Rugby have a granny square pattern with a rugby ball appliqué. Another option is to use a pattern for an American football but change the colour 😊

Bunting

Any size triangles welcome! Again patterns can be found on their website England Rugby site. All we ask is that they are either red or white triangles.

The fabulous Tracey from @bluebird&daisy and I are working on a shop trail that will run during the women’s rugby World Cup so will keep you updated 😊

Many Thanks!
